Spacing out in class
I think I’m slipping.
With my junior year of college drawing to a close and no immediate plans of attending grad school, I’m getting restless. I resent the time I spend sitting in an office and pretending to work. I’m reluctant to put in any effort toward achieving an academic degree I may never use. Really, the only thing I want to do is work out. I’m serious about applying to a police academy next January, and exercising is the only thing I can do with my life right now that’ll actually help my chances of getting what I want out of life…
Angst aside, my life is going pretty okay. The time I’m not at the gym, spacing out in class, or hiding in a cubicle, I’ve been reading and playing video games. Because I just finished a long novel, I’m sort of left with video games. Modern Warfare 2 and Pokemon Soul Silver. I’m growing ever more frustrated with MW2, so a lot of effort has been put into my Pokemon team. Even with access to 493 different pokes, my team is comprised almost entirely from the first 150. I have a Scizor, but that’s just an evolved form of Scyther introduced in generation II.
And I’ve… completely lost grip on what I’m going to say, so here are a few things that have been bothering me today:
1. Why the fuck do some white guys seem to think that well-maintained shoulder length hair is a good idea?
2. Do brown and gray clash?
