Waiting…
I’m at work (the-soul crushing office job that drives me to the gym at least thrice a week so I can get in shape and become a cop instead of actually using my degree), and my mouse dies.

Despite having enough reams of paper to make a small fort and a decade’s worth of pens, my office ran out of batteries. But I’m free to wait until they come in!
Why do I even need a wireless mouse? Or a wireless keyboard? It’s not like I can take these things with me when I go to meetings or anything, and they’re more of an inconvenience than anything else if work can’t stay stocked on batteries…
My shift ends in an hour and a half. Because all the data I work with is “privileged health information,” I can’t legally do any of my work on my laptop. So I’m waiting…
